How to Drive Safe When You're Dealing with Glare

Clear blue skies are always a welcome sight, but when you're behind the wheel, the glare of the sun can impact your vision. At Mercedes-Benz of Arlington, we always want you to be safe on the road, and that's why we're giving you a few tips to reduce glare.

When you're dealing with glare, you should take steps to block out the sun and increase your car's visibility. Polarized sunglasses can help to shield your eyes from the sun, making it easier to see the road in front of you. Sun visors are also a big help - try folding down the passenger-side visor as well as the driver-side visor to maximize sun blockage. You should also keep your windshield as clean as possible, as you don't want dirt or smudges to further inhibit visibility in these situations.

To make sure other drivers can see your vehicle, always turn your headlights on. When you're having car trouble, the team at our service location is always here to perform maintenance.
